Taking forward her elder (transcended) son’s ‘Inclusive Learning’ mission that he began serving at the tender age of eight years & four months, Neena runs an independent, self-funded community library endeavour for the under-served children.
Neena supports the cause of “Cornea-Organ-Tissue” Donation. Her transcended son’s wise words – “true appreciation is to appreciate life, even in death” – inspired Neena to pledge for cornea-organ-tissue donation. Little did she know that destiny would choose her to donate his cornea. She now sensitizes & counsels others to pledge and donate likewise.
Inspired by the loving remembrance of her son who was a born naturalist and devoted champion of wildlife protection, Neena supports the ‘Tree Plantation’ endeavours.
Neena also actively volunteers for ‘Grief Counselling’ of those bereaved or trauma survivors from socio-economically disadvantaged background.
